It's not bad, people in the Anglo-sphere are just idiots. There is no such discussion anywhere else in the world, including the places which are pro-trans people. Trans women are not the same as biological women, obviously. They are trans women. Two words, two terms, each has a meaning. You get rid of one of the terms, the object becomes something else. You might be thinking too literally. Two cis women are "the same" in that they have the same chromosomes. But of course any two people, even identical twins, are not perfectly "the same". Different scars, different experiences, different ideas. Yes, of course there are differences between trans women and cis women. The two most obvious are chromosomes and anatomy. But for the average person you interact with on a daily basis, how much do you have to do with their anatomy or their chromosomes? Not much. Trans women are "the same" in that the majority of your daily interactions will be similar. Trans women and cis women (often but not always) wear similar clothes, use the same pronouns, use the same restrooms, may have the same hobbies and social habits.
