When you are following every single rule, people being selfish and risking the lives of countless others is an incredible slap in the face. Ive been tempted to see my sister in law, who is dear to me and my partner, who before corona stayed with us around a week every month and spent every Halloween, Thanksgiving, and boxing day with us. My partner hasn't seen her family since this began. And yet all of this means nothing, everything we have refrained from doing, being locked up and separated, it's all done nothing because other people's selfishness has cancelled it all out. Fuck.

I don’t think so. The most tempting thing would be gaming the system so I could be rich and successful. I could also be more present and kinder to some people who have since passed away. But the reason I don’t think I would do it is because I would lose all my friends. There’s no way as a 32-year-old in an 11-year-old life that I’d be able to socialize normally. The whole reason the Bible gave for the mark being put on Cain was to protect him - to let others know any harm they inflicted on him would come back to them seven times over.
