I think they were in “lockdown” a week or two before the rest of the state. I would report my abusive mother instantaneously (I know she will literally die before making any effort to own up to her behavior or change it). I would trust that my dad would take me and my siblings in. Assuming major events don't change, when my baby brother is born (me being 15), I would immediately start a CPS case (and, given he was born in opioid withdrawal, it shouldn't be too hard), and he would never have to live in such a dysfunctional household.
