I mean imagine being the doctor that figured it out first you find a whole need germ theory only to realize that you have been in fact unknowingly personally responsible for the death/killing of a lot of infants for years. I don’t think so. The most tempting thing would be gaming the system so I could be rich and successful. I could also be more present and kinder to some people who have since passed away.
